Jaimie Alexander (born March 12, 1984) is an American actress known for portraying Jessi on the TV series Kyle XY and Sif in the 2011 superhero film Thor, it's 2013 sequel, Thor: The Dark World, and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.. Since 2015 she stars in the NBC series Blindspot. Jaimie Alexander was born in Greenville, South Carolina, and moved to Grapevine, Texas when she was four years old. She is the only girl in a family of five children. Alexander first got into acting in grade school, where she took theater for fun. Alexander stated that she was actually kicked out of theater when she was in high school because she could not sing, so she instead went into sports. When she was 17, she substituted for a friend at a meeting with a scouting agency and she met her manager, Randy James, who sent her some scripts. After her graduation from Colleyville Heritage High School, a year and a half later, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career. Hi. JMontgomery here. I'm not really active on mycast anymore but I figured I might as well begin explaining some of my choices for my Kang/Secret Wars Saga that I had worked on since the creation of my account. So if you think a certain casting is questionable feel free to peruse the listing and maybe you'll see my reasoning in a description! Also this listing is extremely outdated (especially due to the fact Jonathan Majors was cast as Kang debunking the popular Harley = Kang fan-theory in which my saga was almost single-handedly based upon) so feel free to update it as you see fit. But for the sake of the Harley/Kang storyline, I beg you not to change that. Thanks again, I poured my heart and soul into this for 2 years straight and I couldn't have done it without the support of my fellow comic fans and filmbuffs! It's all for you!!!
