Thanos invades the Asgardian refugee ship, overpowering Thor and Loki. In a last act, Heimdall sends Hulk to Earth before being killed. With the Power Stone in hand, Thanos kills Loki and destroys the ship. Hulk crashes into the Sanctum Sanctorum, warning Doctor Strange, Iron Man, and the Illuminati—Mister Fantastic, Black Panther, Nick Fury, and Beast—of Thanos’ approach. When Doctor Strange is taken by Thanos' forces, Tony Stark and Peter Parker follow him into space, where they meet the Guardians of the Galaxy and team up to stop Thanos. Meanwhile, Captain America, Falcon, Black Widow, and Quicksilver rescue Wanda and Vision from a Black Order ambush in Europe. After meeting War Machine—who hangs up on Thaddeus Ross—and The Punisher, the team heads to Wakanda, where T’Challa and the Illuminati prepare to defend Vision’s Mind Stone. Despite their efforts on multiple fronts, Thanos proves unstoppable. He collects all six Infinity Stones and, with a snap of his fingers, wipes out half of all life in the universe, leaving the Avengers shattered and defeated. Post Credits: As chaos unfolds, Nick Fury sends a distress signal to Captain Marvel before being dusted, setting the stage for her return in the final battle.
