Teresa Mary Palmer (born 26 February 1986) is an Australian actress. She began her career with roles in Bedtime Stories (2008), The Sorcerer's Apprentice (2010), Take Me Home Tonight (2011), and I Am Number Four (2011). She received further recognition for starring in the films Warm Bodies (2013), Lights Out (2016), Hacksaw Ridge (2016), and Berlin Syndrome (2017). She also starred in, co-wrote, and co-produced the drama film The Ever After (2014), with her husband Mark Webber. From 2018 to 2022, Palmer starred as Diana Bishop in the supernatural drama series A Discovery of Witches.

As a group of young wannabe heroes, dubbed themselves “The Young Avengers”, try and attempt to catch a wanted criminal Robni Hunter, who was experimented on by Baroness Von Strucker, as one of the heroes, White Tiger, corners Hunter nearby a Middle School, Hunter overpowers and explodes herself in a huge explosion killing off the Young Avengers, except Iron Lad & Patriot, and the Middle School in Queens. After this tragedy Secretary Ross has demanded The Avengers, Fantastic 4, X-Men, etc. to sign The Superhero Registration Act, and be apart of the U.S. Government. As Toni Stark and some many heroes plan to sign, an attack is aimed at the Embassy killing off T’Chakia, Queen of Wakanda. Believing this to be the work of The Winter Soldier the Government is after her. Steph looks for and protects Bucki as she knows she was wrongly accused as it was Baroness Zemo who planned the attack. Steph and Toni are at odds with the Act and find themselves fighting with Teams of their own. Which leads to a huge battle outside Avengers Headquarters between the two teams. After the events that transpired Toni Stark needs to put together a New Avengers team, and welcomes Penelope Parker.
