Aang's quest to master Earthbending, a journey that leads him to find Toph Beifong as his teacher. During their travels, Aang's flying bison, Appa, is kidnapped, forcing Aang and his friends to journey to the Earth Kingdom capital of Ba Sing Se. There, they uncover a vast conspiracy, while the exiled Prince Zuko and his Uncle Iroh become fugitives pursued by Azula, Zuko's powerful sister.
