This post credit scene foreshadows the next Avengers movie. Magneto watches a recording of Omega Red warning humanity about the "wrath of the mutants". Magneto says "The warning has been sent. Now it is time to act." Erik turns his eyes to a computer monitor that shows a S.H.I.E.L.D. bunker. We go there, and we zoom in and doors open. Then there is a vault. Inside is an altar carrying a yellow jewel.
