In the beginning, Peter narrates that he's on good terms with Flint Marko, beat a couple bad guys here and there, and married the girl of his dreams. But he still feels the pain of having lost his best friend whom he loved like a brother: Harry Osborn. Most nights, he'd get nightmares about Norman and Harry, or relived memories of when Harry hated and tried to kill him. One thing remains in his dreams: the Green Goblin's demonic, terrifying laugh that haunts him every time he'd pass by Oscorp or mention Harry or Norman.
