We only see Flint in the beginning when Peter's narrating, saying that he and Flint Marko are on good terms, even though Marko spent the last two years in Ryker's. But Flint didn't try to pull a jailbreak because he wanted to be responsible enough to take the consequences of his actions. It may have taken Pete a while, but he hooked Flint up with a VERY great lawyer, and he eventually was released/pardoned/whatever you may call it. Now Flint gets to be a free and honest man, reunited with his daughter Penny. The last time we see Flint is in his pajamas getting the mail, finding an envelope from someone named Fury. Inside was enough money to help with Penny's sickness!
