(Age: 6) Tails never knew where he came from. All he knows was that his real name was Miles, but everyone at the orphanage called him Tails. There was a law Robotnik had: "no child must have a birth defect, such as a shorter/longer limb, or a genetic mutation such as more than one appendage, meaning his tails. Any child with such defects must be put to death." So, the owner of the orphanage hid him the best she could. But like Sonic, he couldn't make friends. The other kids bullied him for his two tails. So, the little guy ran away not long before Sonic was bailed out the day before his parents died. Fate puts these two orphans together so that they can be the closest friends history itself could not compare. But Tails is more than a friend to Sonic. He is now . . . his brother.
