Espio is with the head of his order who has an assignment for him. The reason why Zero couldn’t go was because he has to train the rookies, and Mimic was suspended for killing an innocent family of wolves. So, Espio left to carry out his mission. For a week, Mighty and Ray have lived with Vector and Charmy, watched over by the mysterious Mobian soldier, who revealed her name to be Sonia. The food was just gruel and yesterday’s trash. The restrooms are nasty. They were only allowed to eat one morsel a day. The cells smell like corpses. The bunks were uncomfortable. And there are viewing windows for executions, where Sparks the Parakeet met his fate. The armadillo never thought he’d be in prison again. Not after everything. Mighty then asks why Sonia joined GUN. Sonia didn’t want to talk about it, but she whispered that she didn’t have a choice. They forced her to. Mighty knows how it felt. He tells her that she needs to find the right time to just get up and get out of here. But most importantly have faith that light will find it sway to the darkness. Like the way it did to him when his friend Sonic was imprisoned in the first movie.
