After a somewhat successful trip to Wally World, Rusty decides to take another family vacation. Clark, Ellen, Audrey, and her husband, Stone, join along. Rusty decides the family should fly directly to Australia, but Clark ignores him and buys tickets for a cruise ship. The family flies to Hawaii, where they then board their cruise ship to Australia. In Vacation like-style, nothing goes right. Everything turns into a complete mess. A small fire starts in the kitchen of the cruise ship, which the Griswold family believe to be a huge deadly fire. Clark insists they all jump off the cruise ship, because he believes it's going to blow up and sink. The fire turns out to be very small and is not a threat. Meanwhile, the Griswolds float on driftwood to a nearby island. On the island, they run into Cousin Eddie. Eddie appeared on a Survivor TV show where he was left stranded there. After a long, crazy, and exhausting week on the island, the Griswolds are finally saved. Clark insists they continue their vacation to Australia. Eddie tags along. The vacation ends rather well, as usual.
