In a world where humanity survives behind massive concentric walls, colossal humanoid Titans of mysterious origin periodically breach the defenses and devour people. Eren Yeager witnesses the destruction of his home and the death of his mother when the Colossal Titan shatters the outer wall. Driven by rage and a desire for vengeance, Eren joins the Survey Corps—an elite military unit dedicated to exploring beyond the walls and understanding the Titans' origins. Alongside his childhood friends Mikasa and Armin, Eren discovers he possesses a shocking ability: he can transform into a Titan himself. As the trio uncovers dark secrets about the true nature of the Titans, the walls, and the world beyond, they confront increasingly complex moral questions about freedom, sacrifice, and humanity's place in a hostile world. The series evolves from a straightforward survival story into an epic tale of political intrigue, existential mystery, and the cost of pursuing truth, with shocking revelations that fundamentally reshape everything the characters—and viewers—believe about their reality.
