Checco Varese (born 1963) is a Peruvian-born cinematographer. He has shot numerous shows and films such as The 33 (2015), It: Chapter Two (2019), and Daisy Jones & The Six (2023). He won an Emmy Award for his work on the Hulu miniseries Dopesick.
Due to the mangaka's problematic beliefs (don't ask), I think the best course of action would be to adapt Attack on Titan in the Style of Paul Verhoeven; that is to say it will have more in common with Starship Troopers (farcing military facism and violence) as opposed to just being a blockbuster about killing giant monsters.
