A cartographer and linguist named Milo Thatch finds an ancient manuscript in which there are supposed clues to how to reach Atlantis, the mythical continent lost at the bottom of the sea. Alongside a team of specialists led by Commander Rourke, he boards the submarine Ulysses to verify if the legend is real.
