This timeline would be set after an eventual MCU reboot. This Nick Fury is the leader of SHIELD, and cooperates with the X-Men, although he is reluctant to do so, considering them a very unstable group of people who don't answer to anyone. Beyond that, he has no prejudice against them for being mutants.
