Ezio comes to Rome in the early 1500s, only to find Pope Alexander IV and his son Cesare Borgia together with templars taking control of the city. With his uncle Mario killed and the Apple of Eden captured by the templars, Ezio, with the help of Machiavelli, must protect the city and have the Apple back from the templars, by forming a brotherhood of Assassins.
