Eivor Varinsson ( Heillboer , 9 January 847 – Ravensthorpe , 17 September 905) was a Norse Viking , the leader of the Raven clan and a high-ranking member of the Hidden Ones who lived during the Viking raids in the 9th century. After losing his parents at the age of 9, Eivor was raised under the care of King Styrbjorn , along with his adoptive brother Sigurd . With the rise of Harald Fairhair as king of all Scandinavia, Eivor and his brother took their clan to England under the guidance of the Hidden Ones Basim and Hytham , where they established a new settlement. There, Eivor and his brother forged several alliances with neighboring kingdoms, where Eivor hunted down leading members of the Order of the Ancients , who infested the region. After a civil war with his brother, Eivor returned to Norway accompanied by Basim, where he clashed with the Grand Maester and King of England, Alfred of Wessex ,and Sigurd within the chamber of Yggdrassil . In 882, Eivor traveled to Ireland where he clashed with the cult known as the Sons of Danu , while in 885, he participated in the Siege of Paris in France . In the years that followed, Eivor trained his sons to become Hidden Ones and personally killed Alfred the Great; in 905, Eivor died at Ravensthorpe from wounds received in battle. Eivor was born in the winter of 847 to Rosta and Varin , in Heillboer , a small settlement in western Norway . In 856, during a celebration held in honor of King Styrbjorn at Heillboer, Eivor's family would form an alliance with the king. Eivor presented a gift to King Styrbjorn at his parents' behest, but before the celebration was over, the settlement was attacked by Kjotve the Cruel and his men. Eivor emerged from the longhouse and, after being saved by his mother, and then by Sigurd , Styrbjorn's son, watched as his father Varin laid down his axe at Kjotve's insistence that his family and clan would be spared if he gave his life willingly. Kjotve killed Varin and then broke his promise and ordered his men to kill the rest of the village. Soon after, Rosta attacked Kjotve, but the woman was killed from behind by one of Kjotve's men . Before Kjotve's soldiers could harm Eivor, the child was rescued by Sigurd, and the two escaped on horseback. After a few meters, however, the horse was struck by an arrow, and the two boys fell into a frozen lake. Eivor saw a wolf approaching and began crawling toward Sigurd's axe. The wolf attacked the child, biting Eivor's neck. Despite the pain, Eivor pushed the wolf away and grabbed the axe. The wolf leaped at Eivor, who spun around, striking the wolf in the head, killing it. Following these events, Eivor became known as "Ulvebitt" or "Wolf Bite" and was later adopted by Styrbjorn, who raised her as his own. Around 867, eleven years after the death of his parents, Eivor accompanied King Styrbjorn as he went to meet Hjorr Halfsson in Avaldnes . As the two kings discussed the growing threat in the north that was King Harald Fairhair , Eivor met Hjorr's youngest son, Geirmund Hellskin . In the ensuing conversation, Eivor imparted some words of wisdom to the younger boy. That same year, Eivor married a Fornburg woman named Petra , with whom he fathered a son whom they named Ragnarr , after Ragnar Lothbrok . For the next three years, Eivor continued his life as a Viking, hunting Kjotve and caring for his family.

The celebration of Christmas on December 25 begins in Rome around 336 AD, during the reign of Emperor Constantine, the first Christian Roman emperor. The date was likely chosen to coincide with the existing Roman pagan festival, the Dies Natalis Solis Invicti ("Birthday of the Unconquered Sun"), which celebrated the winter solstice and the gradual return of longer days after Christmas Eve on 24 December during the war between the Hidden Ones (Assassins) and the Order of the Ancients (Templars) around the world. Today, Christmas remains an annual festival observed globally for both the Assassins Brotherhood and the Templar Order, commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ. It is celebrated as both a religious holiday and a secular cultural event, featuring popular customs such as decorating trees, exchanging gifts, and gathering for meals for family and friends which mixes of historical facts about the establishment of both origins and modern celebration of Christmas by Abstergo.
