The Assassin's Creed films are distributed by Warner Bros and Paramount Pictures. The Assassins are the protagonists who battles Abstergo and the Templars who are the antagonists after he or she was abducted and was put in the Animus which allows to relive and the Templar scientists can locate the Pieces of Eden where they control humanity's free will and eliminate violence like his or her DNA through centuries during the millennia-long conflict of the Assassin-Templar War.
