Duly noted: After Allegiant bombed at the box office, Lionsgates decided to launch Ascendent as a TV film but Shailene Woodley who played Tris in all three films wasn't interested and decided to back out. So, as hard as it is to recast Shailene, this is what must be done in order to continue the series.
