Rosie Day (born March 6 1995) is a British actress. She is known for playing Angel in Paul Hyett's feature film The Seasoning House for which she received great reviews. She is also known for playing Millie Bartham in ITV'S Homefront. She also played Nicolette in ITV's Bernard's Watch and Bernard. She provides the voice of Laura Large in the successful CBeebies show The Large Family. She was also seen playing Tess Elliot in ITV's medical drama: Harley Street playing the daughter of Suranne Jones. She played Naomi in box office hit 'Spur of the Moment' written by award winning playwright Anya Reiss at the Royal Court Theatre in London's West End. In 2012 she made her feature film debut in horror thriller "The Seasoning House" in the lead role of Angel, alongside Sean Pertwee, due for release in early 2013, with CineVue stating:'Equally clear, is that 18-year-old Rosie Day has a long screen career ahead of her, as she effortlessly carries the entire film on her slight shoulders' Rosie was chosen as one of Screen Internationals Stars of Tomorrow 2013. One night, after one of the Joker’s absolute worst crimes yet, The Batman is racing him back to Arkham. But once he is handed off to the doctors, things go south very quickly as the power goes out. Batman is locked into the mad house, as everybody escapes. Bruce is forced to fight his entire rogues gallery, and to figure out what caused the chaos. But the culprit reveals themselves to him, as the Arkham Knight, and that they are determined to kill the Batman. Throughout the night, Bruce attempts to find out the identity of the masked figure. He eventually discovers that it is the daughter of the Asylum’s warden, Astrid Arkham. When she was a child, there was a similar breakout where she watched as a batarang killed her mother, not knowing it was used by an inmate. She grew up surrounded by psychopaths she saw as her family, and tended to the wounds that the Batman inflicted upon them, which caused her to hold a deep hatred towards the caped crusader leading to this, where she enacted her plan to kill the vigilante. After their battle, Astrid’s plan backfires on her and she sustains life threatening injuries, Bruce tries to save her but she ends her own life, refusing to be saved by the man she despises more than anything.
