Doctor Ivo Robotnik, also known as Julian Kintobor, was a power-hungry scientist in the Sonic the Hedgehog comics who escaped prison and sought refuge among the Mobians. He offered his services to King Maximillian, but secretly plotted to seize power, eventually overthrowing the monarchy and ruling Mobius tyrannically for a decade during the First Robotnik War. Obsessed with defeating Sonic the Hedgehog, he was ultimately killed during Operation: EndGame. His alternate-future counterpart, Robo-Robotnik v2.0 (later known as Dr. Eggman), took over after his demise, and due to changes from the Super Genesis Wave, Robotnik's existence may have been erased or merged with Dr. Eggman's character.
