"Archibald" is a sophisticated, witty, and emotionally charged HBO Max drama that follows Nate Archibald—now in his late 30s—as he navigates the treacherous waters of New York City politics as its newly elected mayor. Balancing the demands of public office, the scrutiny of the press, and the complexities of his personal life, Nate must confront old ghosts, new rivals, and the ever-present temptations of the city that made him. The series blends the high-stakes intrigue of political dramas like "The West Wing" and "Veep" with the glamorous, scandalous world of "Gossip Girl," offering a fresh, adult take on the beloved universe.
