Arthur Curry is summoned back to Atlantis to confront a growing crisis. Despite Orm’s imprisonment, new threats arise as ancient underwater kingdoms, each led by powerful rulers, seek to claim the legendary Trident of Atlantis—a weapon of immense power capable of controlling all the oceans. Its wielder could either unite or destroy the underwater realms. Teaming up with Mera, Arthur must navigate the treacherous political landscape of Atlantis to prevent a catastrophic war. As they delve deeper into the mysteries of Atlantis' past, Arthur uncovers the true nature of the Trident and its role in the ancient history of the seas. His journey challenges his identity as both a surface-dweller and the King of Atlantis, pushing him to prove himself worthy of the Trident. The crisis culminates in an epic underwater battle where Arthur, now wielding the Trident, unites the kingdoms and averts their mutual destruction. However, peace remains fragile as ancient grudges and new alliances threaten the tenuous balance he has restored. Post Credits: Black Manta, having survived their previous encounter, strikes a deal with an enigmatic surface power, foreshadowing future conflicts that will test Arthur’s rule both beneath the waves and on land.
