Born half-Atlantean and half-human, Arthur Curry discovers his ancestry from his adoptive surface-dweller father Thomas Curry and from Mera, the princess of Xebel, and that he is destined to be the new ruler of Atlantis and to accept the title of Aquaman.
Now, he must train under the guide of Nuidus Vulko, in order to stop a war between Atlantis and the surface world driven by Arthur’s vengeful half-brother Orm Marius, while doing battle with the deep-sea terrorist Black Manta.
