James Allen Mangold (born December 16, 1963) is an American film director, producer and screenwriter. Noted for his versatility in tackling a range of genres, Mangold made his debut as a film director with Heavy (1995) and gained recognition for the films Cop Land (1997), Girl, Interrupted (1999), Identity (2003), Walk the Line (2005), 3:10 to Yuma (2007), and two films in the X-Men franchise with The Wolverine (2013) and Logan (2017), the latter of which earned him a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay. He then directed the sports drama film Ford v Ferrari (2019), which earned him a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Picture, and directed and co-wrote Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (2023), the fifth and final instalment in the Indiana Jones series. For the Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown (2024), Mangold was once again nominated for Academy Awards for Best Picture and Best Adapted Screenplay and his first nomination for Best Director. After a series of underwater earthquakes across the world, King Arthur and Aqualad investigates the strange phenomena only to find that the source of the earthquakes is the thought-to-be long lost Atlantian City of R’lyeh. However, R’lyeh proves to be hostile as they wage war against the land and sea in an attempt to resurrect their long lost god. Arthur now finds himself having to assemble the seven kingdoms to fight against R’lyeh. The first post-credit scene is Black Manta getting a message from Orm to help him overthrow the thrown since they both hate Arthur. The second post-credit scene is The Flash meeting up with Aquaman saying it been awhile since they last time they have seen each other Barry told him he missed him and wished they had more time to talk he said I'm getting married and i wanted you to be the best man. Then they see a alien warship entering earths atmosphere with ships flying all over the place.
