In Maine 1985, a lighthouse keeper named Thomas Curry rescued a woman named Atlanna, the queen of the underwater kingdom of Atlantis and took her in. The two fell in love and raised a child named Arthur, who would be the first child raised half a man from the land and sea. One day sea soldiers came to retrieve Atlanta after escaping Atlantis and her arranged marriage with Orvax Marius. She attacks the soldiers before leaving Thomas and Young Arthur as she returns to Atlantis to face the consequences along with protecting her son and husband. Later on in life Arthur would grow up and one day be trained by Atlanna’s advisor and mentor Nuidis Vulko. When he was ready, Vulko revealed to Arthur that Atlanna was executed for having a relationship with a human and raising a half-breed child. Once discovering the truth, Arthur rejects the city of Atlantis and chooses to work with father at the lighthouse.
