Marisol is Michael's fifteen-year-old daughter—a sweet, shy teenager with pink earbuds and a crush on Tony. She teases him about his scar and blushes when he winks at her during her Quinceanera. Her innocence is the film's most tragic casualty. After the family is evacuated, she returns to the nursery for her nephew's blanket, oblivious to the bomb wired beneath the crib. Her death is instant, brutal, and meaningless—a child blown to bits in a war she never knew existed.
