Doctor Henry Jonathan "Hank" Pym is an physicist who developed the Ant-Man suit after discovering the Pym particles. For a time he worked for S.H.I.E.L.D. and became the original Ant-Man, fighting in some missions alongside his own wife Janet van Dyne, who had taken on the mantle of the Wasp. In a S.H.I.E.L.D. lab, Pym is sent on a mission to Berlin by his colleagues Peggy Cater and Howard Stark to stop a new version of HYDRA. There, at a research centre, Pym learns of the Winter Soldier and, by causing an explosion, is able to prevent the Winter Soldier from being given the mission to attack the King of Wakanda. Back at SHIELD, Stark and Carter assemble a team of heroes to prevent worse.
