Pinkeye gets his name from how pink his eyes are. Being a pig, he is a son of Old Major and brother of all the other pigs. When Napoleon takes control of the farm, Pinkeye must taste his brother's meals to make sure they're not poisoned. However, he doesn't like his brother's behavior, but he must do as he's told because if he doesn't, he'll be done away with. If he wants to live in peace like everyone else on the farm, all he can do is hope for a miracle and that the other animals have a plan.
