Before becoming a priest and the Iscariot Organization’s trump card, Anderson was a soldier. After his squad is slaughtered by a vampire, he contemplates suicide, fearing he might turn into a ghoul. Saved by an unknown force, this trauma fuels his intense hatred for vampires. The spinoff explores his transformation from a normal soldier to a vampire hunter and eventually volunteering himself for a secret super soldier experiment conducted by Iscariot, turning him into a Human-Regenerator, a super soldier designed by the Vatican to combat supernatural threats and heal from injuries.
