Ethan grew up in a small New Jersey town with artist parents who never quite succeeded. He moved to New York to pursue film, making short features on a shoestring budget. His latest project — a love story about ambition and regret — brings Aria into his world. Hence, Ethan carries emotional scars from a past relationship that fell apart when his partner couldn’t accept his obsession with work. Meeting Aria forces him to confront that same pattern. He wants connection, but fears it might distract him from his purpose.
