Two American backpackers from New York City, Dani Kessler and Jodie Goodman, are attacked by a strange beast in the Yorkshire moors. Dani is bitten and Jodie dies. Dani wakes up three weeks later in a hospital in London. She is told that she and Jodie were attacked by an escaped lunatic, but Dani insists they were attacked by some sort of rabid dog or wolf. An undead Jodie appears to Dani and explains the beast that attacked them was a werewolf, and reveals that Dani is now one. Jodie urges Dani to kill herself before the next full moon, not only because Jodie is cursed to linger undead for as long as the bloodline of the werewolf that attacked them survives, but also to prevent Dani from inflicting the same fate on anyone else. Upon her release from intensive care, Dani moves in with Alex Price, a male nurse who grew infatuated with her in the hospital. When the full moon rises, Dani painfully transforms from her human form into a werewolf. Dani, now in werewolf form, prowls the streets of London leaving a trail of dead people behind her. What is gonna take to stop her?
