Jim's best friend. While Kevin is still the every day character of the film and the secondary lead alongside Jim, this version of Kevin's home life and background is more explored. The character's insecurities are more examined as it is shown his parents both passed away and his brother has sole custody of him. Still a kind hearted character and is very caring towards Vicki his girlfriend. Over the course of the film learns to be more confident and that it's the connection that matters. He and his brother are also Jim's neighbors.
