Frances Conroy (born March 15, 1953) is an American actress. She is most widely known for playing the matriarch Ruth O'Connor Fisher Sibley on the HBO funeral drama series Six Feet Under, which earned her a Golden Globe in 2004.
Set in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Newton family are one a road trip to a peaceful cabin in Utah. Their peace is intruded when their car runs out of fuel and they are deserted in an old town. Luckily people live in the town and some are friendly. But others aren’t so friendly.
