First Appearance: Logopolis. Kyle McLaughlin became the youngest actor to play the Doctor at just 22 years old in 1981, becoming his breakout role, early in his career. The Fifth Doctor had an affinity for baseball, which was shown through his unique outfit, oftentimes sporting a baseball cap with a question mark emblem on it. He also, strangely, had a stick of celery pinned to his jacket, which would apparently turn purple in the presence of toxic gas, which would prompt the Doctor to eat the celery, protecting him. The Fifth Doctor would eventually meet his demise in 'The Caves of Androzani' after being poisoned.
