Yvette Nicole Brown (born August 12, 1971) is an American actress and comedian perhaps best known for her role as Shirley Bennett on NBC's sitcom Community (2009-2015). She's also known for her roles as Angela Martin on Bounce's sitcom Act Your Age, Rosaleen in Disenchanted (2022), The Driver in Muppets Haunted Mansion, Sherilyn Thomas on the Disney+ series Big Shot, Aunt Sarah in the live movie version of Lady and the Tramp, Dani on the CBS sitcom reboot of The Odd Couple, Gray Sister #2 in Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters, Rhodesia in Repo Men, Dori in The Ugly Truth, Ms. Camwell in Hotel for Dogs, and Helen on Nickelodeon's Drake and Josh and its' subsequent TV movie Merry Christmas Drake and Josh. She has also had a recurring role on CBS's sitcom Mom and appeared in Avengers: Endgame, (500) Days of Summer, Tropic Thunder, Dreamgirls, and Little Black Book. She has voiced numerous characters including Mayor Gilmore in Pupstruction, KRS in My Dad the Bounty Hunter, Captain Tully in The Chicken Squad, Amanda Waller in DC Super Hero Girls series and subsequent animated shorts, Luna in Elena of Avalor series and movie, and Cookie in Hub Network's reboot of Pound Puppies.

The long awaited television adaptation of the first "Life is Strange" Episodic Video Game. In July 2016, Legendary Digital Studios and Square Enix announced that they would be adapting Life Is Strange as a digital series. At the time of the announcement, they were meeting with potential writers for the series adaptation, which would be set in Arcadia Bay. In 2017, dj2 Entertainment had sold the rights to the series to the streaming service Hulu. In August 2021, it was announced that Shawn Mendes would serve as an executive producer on the series, in addition to overseeing the music for the series. It was also revealed that Anonymous Content would be joining as a production company for the series. In January 2025, the series was officially finally green lit after years of development hell to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the release of the original game and it was announced it would be releasing on Amazon Prime in 2027. It will faithfully adapt the first game and if received well could adapt the other sequels in the franchise in future seasons. In February, Lauren Schmidt Hissrich is hired on as showrunner for the series and Michel Koch and Raoul Barbet the original creators of the game are hired on as consultants. In mid 2025, Jonathan Morali the composer of the original games soundtrack is hired on to score the music along with Shawn Mendes. Also in mid 2025, Jane Schoenbrun is hired to write and direct the first 2 episodes. Casting began in early 2026.
