Steven was the youngest victor before Finnick Odair, winning at age 15 years and 2 months. His Games were set in a tropical rainforest not unlike the 75th Games arena; he scored an 8 in training. He and his District partner allied for the first six days until she was killed by the boy from 1 and girl from 4; incredibly, Steven managed to overpower them at the same time; in addition to the boy from 11, then the girl from 7 in the finale. As of the 3rd Quarter Quell he is still alive age 67 and a leading member of the rebellion. He had three children, who he did not acknowledge in public for fear they could be reaped for the Games but in private they were aware. Ethnicity; Mexican-American.
