Joseph Trapanese (born August 7, 1984) is an American composer, conductor, arranger, and music producer. He works in the production of music for films, television, records, theater, concerts, and interactive media.
Based on Otomo's 1982 manga of the same name. Set in a dystopian future, it tells the story of Shotarō Kaneda, the leader of a motorcycle gang whose childhood friend, Tetsuo Shima, gains incredible telekinetic abilities after a motorcycle accident, eventually threatening an entire military complex in the middle of the Chaos and rebellion in the futuristic sprawling metropolis world of Neo-Manhattan.
