Wyatt Hawn Russell (born July 10, 1986) is an American actor and former professional ice hockey goaltender. Since 2021, he has played John Walker / U.S. Agent in the Marvel Cinematic Universe media franchise, beginning with the Disney+ series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier(2021) and the film Thunderbolts* (2025). Russell has starred in various films, including Everybody Wants Some!! (2016), Goon: Last of the Enforcers (2017), Overlord (2018) and Night Swim (2024), and also starred roles in television shows including Black Mirror (2016), Lodge 49 (2018–2019), and Monarch: Legacy of Monsters (2023–2024). Tatsumi is a self-acknowledge country bumpkin who is nonetheless a well trained fighter. He and two companions leave their remote village to head to the Imperial City to find a way to relieve their friends and family from ruinous taxation imposed by the authorities. Yet the Imperial City is filled with unimaginable amounts of corruption and evil from supernatural sources. Tatsumi is immediately swindled after reaching the City and nearly loses everything soon after, but finds himself allied with an unlikely group of assassins. Along the way, one of the Night Raid members has a vision of what appears to be the future. Haunted by the images he sees, the aforementioned individual now aims to change the dark future that lies ahead. Note: 1.
