Aegon's Conquest follows the legendary campaign of Aegon Targaryen and his two sister-wives, Rhaenys and Visenya, as they unite the fractured kingdoms of Westeros under one rule. Riding their three massive dragons—Balerion, Meraxes, and Vhagar—the Targaryen siblings sweep across the continent, conquering kingdoms that have warred with each other for centuries. Kings and lords who resist face dragonfire; those who bend the knee are spared. The story explores the political intrigue, military strategy, and personal dynamics as the Targaryens establish their dynasty and reshape the political landscape of the Seven Kingdoms. It examines themes of ambition, power, destiny, and the cost of conquest, while introducing the foundations of the world that will define generations to come. The narrative captures both the awe-inspiring spectacle of dragon warfare and the complex human motivations driving the conquest forward.
