Frank Theodore 'Ted' Levine (born May 29, 1957) is an American actor. He is best known for his roles as Buffalo Bill in The Silence of the Lambs and Captain Leland Stottlemeyer in the television series Monk.
Movie adaption of the Adam-12 show. The series follows Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) officers Pete Malloy and Jim Reed as they patrol Los Angeles in their police cruiser, assigned the call sign "1-Adam-12".
