Kreela is a major character in the 2006 animated film The Ant Bully. Despite having a positive disposition, she first shows great reluctance in engaging with Lucas Nickle. In the end, she saves her ant colony by thwarting the Exterminator, who had planned to destroy it. Before Lucas shrinks back to a typical human size, she is last heard saying "good-bye" to him. She was voiced by Regina King, who also played Huey Freeman in Riley Freeman in The Boondocks.
