Jacob Kane is a high-ranking officer in the U.S. Military. His daughter Kate Kane is the super-hero Batwoman, and his other daughter Elizabeth Kane is the super-villain Alice. Using his military access and expertise he assists Batwoman in her war on crime. Jacob Kane was created by Greg Rucka and J.H. Williams III, first appearing in Detective Comics #854. (2009)
