Trey Edward Shults is the director of three full-length films: Krisha, It Comes At Night and Waves. His debut film Krisha is a drama about a woman's efforts to escape her past while making amends with a family in disarray. It Comes At Night is a psychological horror set against a post-apocalyptic backdrop that underlines two families' descent into madness, accompanied by an unabating sense of tension that suffocates it's viewers. Waves is an intimate look at one family's struggles as they fall apart presented with complexity and brought to life by dazzling visuals. You know what always carries over from one film to another?
