Phoenix Wright (Johnny Yong Bosch) is a beginner attorney in the Fey and Co. Law Offices, working for his boss and friend, Mia Fey (Scarlett Johansson). He is now finished with his months of training as a defense attorney and manages to succeed in his first trial. However, one night, Mia was mysteriously killed by an unknown assailant and her younger sister, Maya Fey, was framed for murder. Phoenix, knowing real well that she did not do it, is now on his own and desperate to look for help to defend Maya but no one heed his call. To make matters worse, renowned genius Miles Edgeworth (Alec Baldwin) is selected to be the prosecutor for Maya's trial. Phoenix realizes that he must take matters into his own hands and becomes the defense attorney for Maya, willing to prove her innocence, reveal the true culprit and turn everything around in his favor by any means necessary.
