In the original, the character's first name is spelt with the letter "K" and is called "Kit Kat". However, the remake uses the word "Catherine" with a C and is nicknamed "Cat". This is a double reference to Ariana Grande's Cat in Victorious and Sam and Cat, as well as Catherine "Cat" Pierce, a member of sister duo The Pierces, best known for the theme song to star Peter Forman's favorite TV show of all time, Pretty Little Liars.
