Considered a hermit by Westeros throughout the events of the War of Five Kings, Lord Leyton was very strict in his principles. He wanted nothing to do with the war. The war is now over, and he has become outraged that an up-jumped sellsword has become they most powerful man in the Reach. He gathers forces from nearby houses and lands that are all in the like mind, and musters them for a siege of Highgarden. Bronn, noting this possible conflict, musters forces of his own, and calls upon Tyrion and the Westerlands to join him.
