Daenerys was dead and gone. Pulled away to Essos by Drogon. He brought her to Volantis, where she was resurrected by Kinvara, the Red Priestess. She then sets out to restore her throne, building forces from Mantarys and Meereen, who has mourned her death. She builds a fleet and restores Northern Valyria to a unified kingdom. She has learned of her nephew Aegon’s plans to invade Westeros, and The Blackfyre’s joining with him. She offers Aegon marriage in order to combine their forces and invade Westeros and restore the Targaryen dynasty.
