Set years after the original "A Nightmare On Elm Street" film, the massacre has become a local legend in Springwood. We follow twins Roman and Lara as they spend the summer in the hometown of Springwood with their divorced dad. Things take a dark turn when they start having disturbing nightmares. Soon people start dying around town and people start thinking Freddy is back. As Fear for Freddy grows, Freddy becomes more violent. Eventually Roman and Lara research more about Freddy and contact the only survivor for help, Nancy Thompson.
