following some time after the events of the first movie, a new family called the Walshes moves into Springwood Ohio but gets ultimately hounded by Freddy's new wave of dream stalking killings as soon it's revealed Freddy needs a new host to possess and carry out his vendetta against the youth of Springwood. Jesse Walsh later on encounters and meets several victims who survived Freddy Krueger's attacks and who learn to control their dreams to fight back against him
