Fan Casting Nancy Thompson in A Nightmare On Elm Street

The original survivor of the Springfield murders 40 years ago. Nancy has become reclusive and suffers from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). She is secretly the mother of Robert Taylor, having learned she was pregnant directly after the murders took place, she gave him up for adoption after realizing that she could not take care of him. Through Robert, she is the mother in law of Amanda and the grandmother of Brandon. She agrees to help Brandon and the other teenagers after learning of her family ties.
